The Stanley Golder Library

The Mitchell Museum of the American Indian collection contains over 3000 library books and periodicals. In addition, the library contains video and DVD holdings available for public viewing. The library is currently non-circulating, but is open to the public during the museum’s regular hours of operation — with paid admission to the museum:

  • Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Sunday: noon – 4:00 pm

No appointment is necessary, but if you have a specific research request, you may make an appointment for further assistance. Contact the Curator at 847-475-1030 or click here to email.
