Patricia Michaels Fashion Show

10 AM - NOON: Private Tours** of Native Haute Couture Exhibit at the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian in Evanston, IL 


1 -3 PM: Fashion Show and Reception with Patricia Michaels at the Mayne Stage in Chicago. Join us for an exciting premiere of 20 new looks by Haute Couture fashion designer Patricia Michaels, Taos Pueblo, seen on fashion runways from NY to Palm Springs, CA and Lifetime's Project Runway. 


Tickets and Event Packages are on sale now through the Mayne Stage.

Join us for a tour through the Ciporoke and Wigwam, two different style homes popular in the Woodlands region. Curator, Janelle Stanley (Diné/Acoma), will discuss the building techniques and the uses of different dwellings throughout history and today.

Rising Voices/Hótȟaŋiŋpi Documentary
Come watch a one-hour documentary which follows the struggles of the Lakota to learn their tribal language today, the historical attempt by the United States to annihilate the language, and the rise of immersion language schools and the participation of outsiders in the rescue of the Lakota language.
