Thank you for your interest in providing a contribution to the Mitchell. Here's our Wish List of items the Mitchell Museum would benefit from:

Craft Supplies
Thousands of visitors tour the Mitchell each year on school field trip and in groups tours such as the Boy Scouts and Chicago area summer camps. Each group makes a craft activity designed for their age. Donations of colorful yarn, beads, felt, and sand as well as leather, cords, lanyards, sticker paper, and many other craft supplies are always appreciated.

HEPA Filter Vacuum Cleaner:   Donation: $325
Excellent for cleaning artifacts in exhibits and collections storage, this HEPA filter vacuum and attachments will keep our collections clean.

Sponsor a Storyteller:   Donation: $150
Underwrite the cost of bringing a storyteller to the museum .

Giftworks Fundraising Software:  Donation: $1,000
Help the Mitchell track donations and improve fundraising campaigns! Giftworks provides non-profits with the tools needed to maintain accurate membership, donation, and fundraising databases.

Pneumatic Cart:  Donation: $395
Keep the Mitchell’s collection safe during exhibition installations! Pneumatic carts provide much-needed shock absorption to prevent objects from shaking while they are carefully moved around the museum.

Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Sunday: 12pm – 4pm

Adults: $5.00
Children, students, teachers, seniors: $3.00 
Mitchell Members: FREE
Tribal Members: FREE
