Welcome to the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian

The Mitchell brings Native American culture to life through exhibits, programs, presentations, and activities.

You can discover the ancient and contemporary art and material culture in our exhibits and library and enjoy most programs for a small admission fee. Our hours and location are convenient. Check out the map for easy directions from major highways or by taking public transit.

We offer docent-led tours and craft programs for groups and school trips. Don't forget that the Mitchell's library and collections are a great resource for your school project or PhD research.
